A scary situation unfolded in the overnight hours at a local motel. Guest staying at the Super 8 motel off Exit 90 in Richmond said police knocked on their doors and told them to get to the lobby because of a hostage situation. Guest soon learned a gun was involved.
”The lady come down, said some lady was in the room and that her 5 year old son was in the room with them and that there was a gun,” said guest Dioanna Mason.
The situation lasted about 90 minutes. People staying at the motel said police put two children in the back of a cruiser. No other details have been released.
