36th District State Representative Lonnie Napier said he will not run for re-election for his district, which covers Garrard County and part of Madison County. Napier’s facebook page said it was time to spend more time with family and with his businesses. On his facebook page, Napier said, “It has been an honor to server you over the last 28 years and I feel proud of the successes we have accomplished together.”
Napier is supporting Nathan Mick, who has filed for the seat.
